Rooted In Northern Michigan
Up North Productions has been working in northern Michigan since 2008, with roots in photography and videography. The work started with cameras on the ground and grew into the air, adding drones and FPV flying as the tools evolved.
Boomer Rango is the photographer and videographer behind Up North Productions. Every shoot is planned and shot locally, with a feel for the light, weather, and seasons that shape this part of Michigan.
What We Do Today
Today the focus is property media: aerial and ground level photo and video for homes, vacant land, commercial spaces, and project sites. The goal is simple, honest visuals that show a property the way it really looks on its best day.
Alongside client work, the Up North Productions YouTube channel stays active with property tours, drone flights, gear tests, and design tutorials. It is a working studio journal as much as a channel, and it keeps the craft sharp between shoots.
How We Work
Straightforward and local. We talk through the property, pick the right mix of aerial and ground coverage, and shoot when the light is right. No hype, just careful work and a quick turnaround.
